Alejandro Varela

Biography

He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on October 7, 1963. He studied Architecture at the University of Buenos Aires, graduating in 1988. From 1987 to 1997, he attended the workshops of Roberto Bosco and Alberto Ferrara, where he began his artistic training.

He decided to start his career exclusively as a painter after finishing his university studies. That same year, he taught classes at the art workshops of La Carpintería. In 2000, he began working and teaching in his studio in the Nuñez neighborhood of the capital city, an

activity he continues to this day.
